Study Table Policy: At any time during a semester grading period a student receives a NP or F grade (grading periods occur at 4.4, 9, and 13.5 weeks), the student will be required to attend designated study table for 60 minutes each week.  This will continue until the next grading period, at which time if the student is passing all classes with a C or better, the student will be released from the study table obligation.  At any of the final grading periods (18 weeks), if a student receives an For GPA below 2.0, the student will be required to attend designated study table for 60 minutes each week for the entire following semester. Teachers are allowed to place individual students on study table if they are not making adequate progress in class. If a student athlete is not making adequate progress toward their proficiencies, as determined by the teacher, in 5 of 8 classes over the course of the semester they will be withheld from competition until they reach that minimum standard.  A student assigned to study table who does not complete one hour per week will be ineligible for the following week of competition.  This may overlap into the following sports season.  See the Student-parent Athletic Handbook for more information about our guidelines.
